My husband and I took advantage of his work trip to San Francisco by making a long weekend after to visit Big Sur. I've always been attracted to Southern California's warm weather and beaches so this part of the state had never been something I explored. I am so glad we did! It's amazing and like nothing I've ever seen before. We stayed at a great Airbnb on an organic lemon tree farm, high up on the mountain with a view of the ocean-- dream city. Here are a few shots from the trip...
PRINT SHOP | texas series
I am excited to announce my print shop is live! I have wanted to do this for a while, but never found the right collection of photos. I finally rounded up some of my favorites from the lovely state of Texas. There are so many places dear to my heart in this state and I hope these photos reflect that. Here is a little about each of the photos in the series.

This images is from the Barton Creek Greenbelt where I literally grew up running barefoot, swimming every summer there was water, swinging from trees, saving fish, collecting rocks and so much more. I got engaged here, learned to love trail running, and it's a special spot for my mom and me :). I love when there is water but I also love the way the bleached creek bed looks even without the water.
The next three are from Leakey, Texas. Which is an oh so quaint little town on the Frio River. I've been going there every summer for as long as I can remember and I just love the absolute simplicity of it.
This photo was taken near the Warrenton fields where hundreds of antique vendors set up shop twice a year for a few wonderful weekends of junking, collecting and lots of kettle corn. I try to make this trip every chance I get and the spring weekend is just bursting with bluebonnets.
This winter field is from a beautiful bed and breakfast in Roundtop. I went for a sisterhood weekend with my sister and cousin and this was the view we just couldn't get over.
This cotton field is outside of New Braunfels and a few friends and I had a dreamy shoot that we put together after a rain. The light was just amazing.
Johnson City is on our drive on the way to the Frio River-- one of my favorite antique stores located there is a must stop. I love these string lights haphazardly strung between these gorgeous Texas oaks!
These river rocks from the Frio River are really one of my favorite things ever. I love the worn shapes and the bleached whites and greys and how they get hot in the sun. This is probably my favorite in the series.
