Once a year, I try to do a group shoot with girls entering their senior year of high school. I do this for a few reasons... it helps promote senior pictures for the coming season and it allows me to come up with a creative shoot that is a little out of the ordinary for my typical portraits. Also, I think this is one of the most fun stages of a girl's life and I love getting a group together and asking them all about it. Like, where do you want to go to college, or what are you excited about for this upcoming year and who are your best friends? It's such a formative time of life and I love capturing the enthusiasm and joy that comes from it.
This group of girls was no exception. We had so much fun with a picnic in the park complete with summer-y pop ice and colorful mexican blankets (that we also used for makeshift backdrops in some of the pictures). So thankful for this group of girls that participated! I seriously had a blast with them!
And now for a few outtakes... I had so much fun with these girls!
